John, a Licensed Geologist with over 30 years of experience, leads transformative waterfront cleanup and redevelopment projects across the Pacific Northwest. Specializing in contaminated sediment, soil, and groundwater remediation, maintenance dredging, and habitat restoration, he delivers cost-effective, environmentally sound solutions for Ports and private-sector clients.

John’s expertise spans strategy development, project management, agency negotiations, dredged material characterization, cleanup studies, remedial design, construction, and long-term monitoring for offshore and upland initiatives. His leadership has driven high-impact projects, including the Port of Everett’s Weyerhaeuser Mill A cleanup, Puget Sound Energy’s Gasworks Park remediation, and the multi-site cleanup of the Port of Anacortes, restoring vital waterfronts for economic and community use.
